Regularly inspect the end covers and tube boxes of the shell-and-tube cooler for corrosion, rust, cracks, and sand holes, and repair them promptly if found. Periodically perform pressure and leak tests on the tube sheets and shell, check the tightness of bolts, and implement insulation and anti-corrosion measures (partial inspections may be necessary). The tube sheets should also be regularly maintained to check for deformation or bending of the heat exchange tubes. Inspect the corrosion status of baffles, deflectors, and tie rod bolts. Check the sealing surfaces of the cooler to ensure they are free of scratches and dents. During normal operation of the shell-and-tube cooler, the tube sheets and tube welds should also be color-inspected.
